1. Connect the microphone. It may connect via a USB cable or using a microphone cable.
  2. Open the Control Panel and choose Sound.


  3. In the Sound window, click on the Recording tab.


  4. Choose your microphone.
    1. When you select the microphone, the you will be able to see movement in the volume level if you speak.


  5. Click OK to apply the changes and close the Sound options window.
