Parking on Campus

All University of Findlay students are permitted to have a motor vehicle on campus regardless of class standing. Students who wish to park in campus parking lots or on any campus-owned property must register each vehicle with the Office of Campus Safety, located on the first floor of Lovett Hall. Registration must be completed within the first five days of a semester or within three days of bringing the vehicle to campus. Students are responsible for reporting any change to license plate number(s) during the academic year. The University assumes no responsibility for vehicles or their contents while the vehicles are parked on University-controlled property.

Parking Permits

The student parking decal must be displayed on the rear windshield in the lower left corner and in a prominent place on motorcycles, motorbikes, and other types of motor vehicles so that they can be easily seen. All students must produce a valid student ID card when registering.

Faculty/Staff hang tags are to be displayed on the rear view mirror facing forward in plain view.

Visitors

We welcome visitors on campus. Persons who visit campus must secure a visitor's parking permit from the Campus Security Office upon arrival on campus. This permit should be displayed on the dashboard of the visitor's vehicle. This permit allows the visitor to park in any student or faculty/staff lot except where designated as handicapped or reserved.
