When you are signed in to the Office 365 OWA, in the folder menu on the left right-click on the Folder drop down button.

In the menu that appears, select “Add shared folder.”

In the prompt that comes up, start typing the full name of the mailbox you wish to open, not the email name. For example, if  Derrick The Oiler Fan Club email is derrickfans@findlay.edu, you must type in “Derrick The Oiler Fan Club” If the name does not auto-fill, type it in and select “search contacts and directory” to find the mailbox.

Once you have selected the correct mailbox, click Add to add the other mailbox to your folder menu.  The mailbox will appear at the bottom of the folder menu on the left side.

Directly with a Specific URL

To go directly to a shared mailbox in the Office 365 OWA, without starting in your own mailbox, you must use (and bookmark) a specific URL for each shared mailbox you want to access this way:

https://outlook.office365.com/owa/[email name of mailbox]@findlay.edu/

For example, if the shared mailbox for the Derrick The Oiler Fan Club email is derrickfans@findlay.edu, the URL is https://owa.findlay.edu/owa/derrickfans@findlay.edu.

When you sign in with your Office 365 username and password, you will be taken directly to the shared mailbox.
