Technology Standards:
- Currently registered students are permitted to connect their own computer to the campus-wide network, provided they have an active UFnet account.
- For wired connectivity, the student’s computer must have an Ethernet network interface card (NIC) and network cable (Ethernet).
- For wireless connectivity, the student’s computer must have a wireless network card (802.11b/g/n).
- Students taking online classes are required to have access to High-Speed Internet (no dial-up).
Personal Computer Software:
The University of Findlay offers Microsoft Office 365 Education. Through this, registered students can access Microsoft software products to be used on a personally owned computer or mobile device. Registered students are encouraged to learn more about the free software available via the Microsoft Office 365 Education page. You will be required to login using your UFnet account username and password.
