There are several print release stations around campus for your convenience. These stations allow you to use your personal computer (Windows & Mac) to print documents from anywhere on campus. Only black and white printing is available at this time.

Print Release stations are located in:

  • AMU (2)
  • BCHS
  • NMI
  • Shafer Library (2)
  • Davis Street Building (2)
  • College of Business / Student Life Center (3)
  • Old Main - Oiler Success Center
  • UF Village

After sending the print job you will need to log into the print release station (listed above) with your UFnet ID card or digital ID to release the print job. The cost will not be deducted until the job is released. Print jobs are automatically deleted if not printed in 24 hours.

Note: The current rate is $0.05 per page. This includes duplexing (duplexing will allow you to print to both sides of the paper and still only be charged $0.05).

Duplexing is on by default.  In order to print single-sided you will need to set the print job to single sided using the web interface.

**Known Issues**

  • You must be on campus to download the OilerPrint software.
  • If you are unable to login to the Print Release stations please change your UFNET password and try again.
  • ANY custom DNS, VPN or network settings will not allow you to download OilerPrint.  These settings MUST be removed in order to use OilerPrint.
  • Passwords longer than 30 characters will not work with print release at this time.
  • If Windows displays an error and the error log says "Unable to find the port:PharosPopupPort" Uninstall the software and delete this registry entry "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors\Pharos Systems Popup Port Monitor" then reinstall OilerPrint.
  • If the uninstaller displays an error about a missing .dll file, re-run the installer and then run the uninstaller again and it should complete successfully.
  • Some third-party antivirus or security software may block the OilerPrint installer or prevent Oilerprint from communicating with the Oilerprint server. You may need to disable or uninstall such software or contact the software vendor to find out how to allow the Oilerprint software through it's security protocol.
  • If it's still not working reboot.
  • Check Windows updates.
  • Macs occasionally need to uninstall and reinstall everything.
