The University of Findlay has a variety of portals, or web access points, to different UF-specific information. Below is an overview of the various portals and the resources you can access in each location.

myFindlay is the online tool that is linked directly to the University’s student information system. At this portal you will find all student academic information, including classes, grades, contact information, etc. Additionally, you are able to use this portal for:

• Registering for classes
• GPA projection
• Graduation audit
• Parent portal to gain access to student information (permission-based)
• Parking permits
• Student media release
• Financial aid information
• Student employment

Canvas is a Learning Management System (LMS) that UF uses for both online courses and face-to-face courses. Canvas is used for:

• Course materials
• Assignments
• Quizzes and tests
• Grades
• Online collaboration/conferencing using Zoom
• Communication is the main web page that provides information to the general public, including potential students, alumni/donors, and the community at large.
