How to take a screen shot on Mac

1. Press Command + Shift + 4 

2. Your mouse will turn into a crosshair that you will use to select the area to screen shot

3. Click and drag your mouse over the section of your screen you would like to screen shot

4. By default screen shots are saved to your desktop


How to attach a screen shot to a ticket

1. Create a new Help Desk ticket at helpdesk.findlay.edu or send an email to helpdesk@findlay.edu

2. If you are creating a ticket on your email skip to step 5

3. In Help Desk after you click +new to start a new ticket click on the picture icon which is the second to last icon show below

4. Browse your computer to find the screen shot you would like to attach

5. If you are sending an email to start a new ticket click on the paper clip to attach a file

6. Browse your computer to find the screen shot you would like to attach
